About the Role Zentium's CVO & Credentialing Specialist is a critical member of our delivery team — serving as both a domain expert and a hands-on practitioner who supports clients through the most complex aspects of provider credentialing, enrollment, and privileging.
You'll work inside ZenCheck, Zentium's AI-powered credentialing and enrollment platform, partnering directly with health systems, MSOs, and provider groups to streamline processes that have historically taken 90+ days. You know NCQA standards, payer enrollment workflows, and primary source verification cold — and you're excited to apply that expertise inside a modern, technology-driven environment.
What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end provider credentialing workflows including primary source verification, CAQH profile management, payer enrollment, and hospital privileging
- Serve as a credentialing subject matter expert for client onboarding — helping organizations configure ZenCheck to match their existing workflows and compliance requirements
- Monitor provider expirables (licenses, DEA, malpractice, board certifications) and proactively manage re-credentialing cycles
- Support multi-state credentialing and enrollment for MSO clients and expanding provider groups
- Work cross-functionally with Customer Success and Product to surface workflow gaps and inform platform improvements
- Maintain compliance with NCQA, CMS, TJC, and payer-specific credentialing standards across client portfolios
- Support the development of credentialing playbooks, SOPs, and training materials for new clients
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of hands-on credentialing experience, preferably within a CVO, health system, or large MSO
- Deep knowledge of NCQA standards, primary source verification requirements, and payer enrollment processes
- Experience managing provider credentialing across multiple states and payer networks
- Familiarity with credentialing software platforms (Modio, Symplr, Verity, MD-Staff, or similar); ZenCheck experience is a strong plus
- CPCS or CPMSM certification preferred; NAMSS membership a plus
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple provider files simultaneously
- Comfortable working directly with clients — you can translate complex credentialing requirements into clear guidance
Why Zentium
- Work on a platform purpose-built for the problems you've spent your career solving — not a workaround or a spreadsheet
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams who genuinely listen to credentialing experts
- Opportunity to shape how AI is applied to credentialing automation in real healthcare organizations
- Remote-first with flexible scheduling and a team that respects domain expertise
- Competitive compensation, benefits, and growth path into senior or leadership roles
