Business Development Representative

An outbound sales role focused on generating and qualifying leads across healthcare organizations. You’ll prospect, engage decision-makers, and book demos while building pipeline and collaborating closely with sales and marketing.

About the Role Zentium is redefining how healthcare organizations manage their workforce — from credentialing and privileging to scheduling and labor analytics. As a Business Development Representative, you'll be on the front lines of that mission: identifying, engaging, and qualifying healthcare leaders who are ready to modernize their operations.

This is a high-velocity, outbound-focused role. You'll work closely with Account Executives and the leadership team to build pipeline across our core markets — health systems, MSOs, and provider groups. If you'rehungry, intellectually curious, and excited about the intersection of AI and healthcare, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Execute outbound prospecting via email, phone, and LinkedIn to target ICP accounts across health systems, MSOs, and multi-site provider groups
  • Research and identify key decision-makers — COOs, CMOs, Directors of Credentialing, VP Medical Staff Services, and Practice Administrators
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, gather discovery information, and schedule demos for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in HubSpot CRM — activities, contacts, pipeline stages
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, sequences, and messaging refinement based on real prospect feedback
  • Hit and exceed weekly and monthly activity and pipeline generation targets
  • Develop deep product knowledge across ZenCheck and ZenSync to credibly articulate value to prospects

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 years of outbound sales or SDR/BDR experience, preferably in SaaS or healthcare technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — you can craft a cold email that gets replied to
  • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or Apollo a plus
  • Curiosity about healthcare operations — you don't need a clinical background, but you care about the problem
  • Coachable, resilient, and genuinely driven by results
